Welcome to Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home

The Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers were originally founded in Del City, Oklahoma on January 1, 1966. Bill Eisenhour, whose brother Harold was already in the funeral profession in Blanchard, Oklahoma, purchased a small residence at 5005 Southeast 29th Street and converted it into the funeral home. It was also at this time that Bill’s brother Lloyd Eisenhour joined him in the new business.

As the business grew, it was apparent to the Eisenhour brothers that new facilities would be needed. In 1969, the first funeral chapel was added, and the firm continued to serve more and more area families. In 1970 the Northeast location was constructed, and the firm then grew to serve more families than any other funeral home in Eastern Oklahoma County.

In 1978 the Northeast location at 8805 NE 23rd Street was completely updated and remodeled, and a new chapel was constructed. That was then followed in 1982 by a remodel of the Southeast location. As the needs of the families grew, it became apparent that a state-of-the-art cremation and embalming facility was needed, so in 1996 the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes installed the first and only crematory in Eastern Oklahoma County. The latest remodeling and expansion of the facilities has just been completed, and includes such highlights as a children’s playroom and a special family receiving and reception area.

Today the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Homes are privileged to serve more families than any other funeral service provider in Oklahoma County. The Bill Eisenhour family and funeral home staff continues the long-standing family tradition of sincere, hometown service to families in central Oklahoma.
